The Basic Tip: Eat Less Crap, Eat More Food


The Short, Simple & Easy way to be fit & healthy is to simplify your eating. Its equally important to know and practice what to eat and what not to eat. So the most basic engineering of your diet is to eat less CRAP and eat more FOOD. The following descriptions is a short summary and detailed discussions would be done in the forthcoming posts.

#01 Carbonated Drinks: Fizzy drinks, Colas, Soda, etc may lead us to Health Diseases, Cancer, Diabetes, Hyperactivity, Premature Aging, Liver damage, etc.


#02 Refined Sugar: The processed and chemically treated sugars are the most common understood evil food to many. They are bad as the beneficial nutrients are removed from it for making it more commercial to bring it to our table. Weight gain, Obesity, Diabetes, Heart diseases are popular evil effects.


#03 Artificial Colors & Sweeteners: These the tools for making food look attractive and more appealing. But its more like a trap. From hyperactivity to various allergic reactions are the consequences. Remember, it takes only few drops to change the water color in a 10 gallon tank.



#04 Processed Foods: The Packaged wafers, other heavily altered foods while preparation, commonly called as Junk Food, are the rich source of unhealthy fats (also understood as Trans Fat) causes rapid spikes in blood sugar & insulin causing Blood Pressure issues, Diabetes, Obesity, etc.



#05 Vegetables & Fruits: Vegatables & Fruits are considered as best and safe food. Caution should be taken on word FRESH & ORGANIC. It not only gives you immunity but also helps you to be in shape.


#06 Organic Lean Protein: Pulses, Nuts, Seeds,Beens, Lentils, etc are the basic lean protein. It builds body muscles and thus gives strength. It also has benefits for Heart health, cholesterol & Blood Pressure levels. Its quantity should be adequate as excess of it is also not so good.


#07 Omega 3 Fatty Acids: No, its not a rocket science to understand that Omega 3 Fatty acids means a food component found in Fishes, Flaxseed, Soybean, etc. reduces tryglycerides, depression, asthma, arthritis, etc. and excess of it may affect blood pressure, diarrhea, weight gain, etc.


#08 Drinking Water: Last but not the least on this list is to drink water. Clean & Pure Water drinking has no other substitute. It maintains body temperature, removes toxicity from the body, boosts immunity, helps metabolism, prevents cramps, and the list is not finite.


So, don't punish yourself by assuming eating healthy and avoiding unhealthy food is herculean tasks. It may be difficult but not impossible. Little self control and awareness can bring wonders. Stay Fit & Eat Right.
